2016’s Resolutions

It’s at the end of February, yet I still writing my New Year resolution here. It isn’t like I don’t have much to write it down, maybe it’s just hard to start writing. Now, I just got back from two weeks English course from the office and sit in front of my sister whose studying hard for the quiz. We’re at this restaurant with pleasant vibe and delicious savory pancake. It’s not crowded even though on weekend and the other customers just open their laptop and write. I think it’s time for me to start writing again.

I write my resolution here just because my life (blog) feels incomplete. I keep thinking of what I’m going to do. It’s like I don’t have any goal to reach this year. 2015 Resolution Check and Recap

So, here’s my accomplishments for 2015:

  • GET A JOB.
Got it. A job that I never regret in 2015.
  • Hafizh Al-Quran juz 30.
Nope. But at least my recitation of surah has increase.
  • Khusuk at shalat, increase the recitation of surah, reading Al-Quran and its translation, and do shalat sunnah
Alhamdulillah that my work environment is so nice so I can pray freely, but not khusuk enough. That’s a problem from myself.
  • Learn to crochet seriously until I can make a tablecloth.
Done. But all the granny’s squares I made was used to make a cushion cover handled by mom.
  • At least make one hanging weaving object so my weaving loom becomes useful.
I made 3! And I was joined a weaving class by Livingloving.net. It was really useful.
  • Diligently write this blog.
    Am I diligent enough? Nope.

2015 Plan

My biggest plan for 2015 is…

GET A JOB. Once it done, I could be free and doing another plan.

These are my plan after getting a job:

  • Hafizh Al-Quran juz 30.
  • Khusuk at shalat, increase the recitation of surah, reading Al-Quran and its translation, and do shalat sunnah.
  • Learn to crochet seriously until I can make a tablecloth.
  • At least make one hanging weaving object so my weaving loom becomes useful.
  • Diligently write this blog.
  • Cook often.
  • Doing something with leatherwork.
  • Play my violin.
  • Learn another song for my ukulele. Since I only know Take My Heart and La Vie en Rose for months.
  • Exercise so I’ll not get sick. Jogging every Sunday or Hip-Hop Body-ing, and doing face stretching every morning.
  • Read at least a book for a month.
  • Taking care of my own body. Buy make-ups, doing wardrobe makeover, and brush my hair a lot.

It’s a lot. But after I get my job, I will seriously do it all.

2014 Resolution Check and Recap

It’s already the end of 2014. Let’s see if I have accomplished my resolution.

  • Get my law degree this year! It’s a must!
Get it. I’m proud of my bachelor thesis. Alhamdulillah I didn’t find any big obstacle when writing my thesis.
  • Having internship before June.
Have it done for 3 months, from April to July, in one of the biggest coal company in Indonesia. I got much valuable lessons there.
  • Get a job before the end of year. It’s way better if I already get it before graduation.
    Still jobless…
  • Read Al-Quran and its translation. Need to bring one from home.
Alhamdulillah. Khatam. Need to repeat this for the next year.
  • Getting better on violin.
Getting suck on violin actually. Especially after the concert.
  • Follow the daily schedule. At least for 10 days in a row, for a reason.
Done. For 10 days. And stop.
